Next Generation Radio At KJZZ

Doug Mitchell
NPR Next Generation Radio Project
Next Generation Radio at KJZZ is a week-long multimedia training program exploring the craft of radio storytelling.

The first session, held January 4-8, is geared toward advanced undergraduate and graduate journalism students. The February session will focus on skills and knowledge appropriate for early or mid-career reporters and producers.

KJZZ will select no more than five candidates for each session. In addition to course materials and instruction, participants will be provided with transportation, lodging, one meal per day and access to KJZZ's production facilities and staff.

This is a fantastic learning and networking opportunity for reporters and producers interested in advancing their journalism career. Applications will be accepted through the 23rd of October and participants will be selected later in the fall.
