Hosting the class at an international language institution in Spain provides students with an opportunity to remove themselves from their culturally familiar environment and present to a diverse audience with a variety of backgrounds and native languages.
Class topics will include global perspectives, ethnocentrism, cultural considerations when choosing supporting stories, facts and testimony, linear and holistic patterns of speech, effective nonverbal expression and the construction of visual aids.
