Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) Averages 3.5% Savings Per Transaction

KJZZ supporters are well aware of the benefits of a sustaining membership. Donors appreciate the set-it-and-forget-it convenience and reduced on-air fundraising while the station enjoys a steady and predictable revenue stream.  What donors might not be aware of is the benefit of making a sustaining donation directly from a bank account by electronic funds transfer (EFT).

Each month, KJZZ pays an average of 3.5% per transaction in credit and debit card fees while donations made by EFT cost only 9 cents each. EFT transactions are also less prone to rejection due to outdated account information. When sustaining contributions are made by EFT they are more efficient and cost effective allowing a larger portion of the donation to be invested in programming.

Switching from a credit or debit card to an EFT payment method is easy. Simply log in to your E-member account and select the "Give Monthly From Your Bank Account" payment option.
