KJZZ Assistant General Manager Linda Pastori will accompany a small group of public radio supporters and travel enthusiasts on the KJZZ Travel Club Women's Trip To Tuscany, September 12-19, 2015.
"Education is a core value of the public radio listening audience," Pastori said. "The KJZZ Travel Club provides an opportunity for KJZZ supporters to share their curiosity and passion for learning."
Designed with women in mind by Gina Ruggiero of Villa Vita International, the 7-day trip will take participants on an authentic journey through the beauty and culture of Tuscany, Italy.
According to Ruggiero, who specializes in travel to Italy, there is something about Tuscany that brings out the inner Renaissance woman in those who visit.
"Tuscany heightens your sense of light and color. Our eye for art becomes keener, our hearts soften and our minds reflect," Ruggiero said. "The beauty of this region touches our soul in many ways."
With a focus on life-long learning, the trip features a walk in the footsteps of Mona Lisa based on Dianne Hales' book Mona Lisa: A Life Discovered. A variety of optional classes will also be available including Tuscan Table culinary lessons, yoga in the olive grove, watercolor painting in the vineyards and a travel photography class.
KJZZ Travel Club members will receive a 10% discount on this trip.
